Retirement villages Victoria

Victoria is the lair of approximately 400 retirement villages. 280 of these villages are non-profit.

Majority of the residents are female. Moreover, the population’s average age is 85 years.

The focus of the current Act is on protecting resident's assets. In Victoria, a Retirement Village Notice is required to be placed on the title of RV land. For ingoing contributions that exceed $10,000, a 'charge' must also be placed on the land.
